Join us as we celebrate the legacy of a true community visionary. We are officially dedicating the Charlie Williams Overlook at Dewey Point, honoring Charlie’s lifelong passion for the Wabash River and his instrumental role in laying the groundwork for what we see today.
Charlie’s leadership and tireless advocacy set the stage for the riverfront’s future. While the full vision for the river is a journey that continues, the progress we enjoy today, from the trails to the Wabashiki Wetlands, is a direct result of the foundation he helped build.
This dedication is open to the public, and we invite everyone to join us. If you haven't had a chance to visit Dewey Point or explore the Wabashiki Wetlands, this is the perfect opportunity to see a special space in our community.
