The vision for the Wabash Riverfront is coming to life, and it’s happening because of shared community commitment and efforts. You’re invited to Riverpalooza, a community gathering hosted by Riverscape to spotlight the momentum, projects, and activities transforming the Wabash River in Terre Haute.

This event is free and open to the public. We are bringing together members of our community, local business leaders, government officials, and families to see how far we’ve come, celebrate the partnerships making it possible, and talk about what's next for our riverfront.

For Civic & Business Leaders: Driving Economic Development & Quality of Life

See how collective community initiatives and regional partners are actively moving our master plan goals forward We will have Partner Stations positioned throughout the atrium featuring visual updates and information on major riverfront advancements.

For Community Members & Families: Hands-On Fun & Activities

Bring the family out for somefun, food and activities.. Meet our brand-new mascot, Wally the Wabash River Otter, drop by the Kids Craft Station for two river-themed crafts, , enjoy food and live music, and enter to win a brand-new kayak in the Kayak Giveaway, courtesy of the Vermillion, Parke and Fountain Blueways Project.

Itinerary

4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Food, music, kids’ crafts, and mingling. Explore community partner stations and connect with neighbors and community leaders.

5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Presentation of Riverfront Progress (Led by Riverscape Riverfront Development Director, Lori Danielson)
Celebrate the collaborative successes driving riverfront development and look ahead toward future milestones.

The Reveal: The official launch of the brand new Riverscape website and brand identity!
